happy feet

Classes continue as normal until 25th July (when I go on honeymoon) and start back on 6th August. For full dates, visit my calendar.

I know many of you take other classes aside from mine or are members of a gym. For those who aren’t, whilst I’m away please do take some form of exercise. Perhaps you could practise our Pilates stretches or listen to my Spotify playlist and dance around the kitchen with the kids. Getting your heart rate up and moving the body to the edges of its rage of motion can help you to live a long and active life and improve your mood. Taking some time for yourself in this way is a really good habit to maintain.

Take part in our outreach work

I’m having a busy summer dancing as part of our theatre company Ragroof Players, participating in various outreach events around the country.

Leech Court and Brook Meeds

Those in Brighton might be interested to know that we’re still running ballroom and Latin dance workshops at Leech Court residential care home for vulnerable older people. The workshops are on Wednesdays until 11 July (2-3:30pm).

We also have our last tea dance at Brook Meads care home for people with dementia on 22 July (2-4pm) as part of Our City Dances Festival. The tea dance is free but booking is necessary due to limited places. Please get in touch with me if you’d like to attend.

If you want to bring a relative or friend who might be considered vulnerable, or if you want to come along as a dance champion, please message me.

More Ragroof

We have also been doing outreach work for festivals and touring Happy Feet to street festivals around the country.Visit the Ragroof calendar for all upcoming events.
