About Matthew, Dancefloor Activist

I originally trained as an actor and worked in theatre, film and television. For the past six years I have co-directed the theatre company, the Ragroof Players.

I started Dancefloor Activist with the vision of creating fitness classes that promote body positive messages, and are inclusive and fun. Our ethos is to encourage everyone, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or disability, to be part of a community dedicated to being active, present and involved.

All my work, in fitness and theatre, involves working in communities, bringing people together and helping to make people feel more positive about themselves.

Half-term classes update! 💜

Hello everyone, I’m still running most classes this week. The classes that I’m having to cancel are Thursday 18:30 Zumba and Thursday 19:30 Pilates.
